Interpower Complies to New Swiss Plug Standard
Effective April 11, 2011 Interpower Corporation is manufacturing our 10 Amp Swiss plug with insulated line and neutral pins in order to comply with the Swiss standard SEV 1011:2009 (type 12, sheet 6534-2:2009). This requirement does not apply to the Swiss 16 Amp plug.
The 10 Amp plugs with non-insulated pins may be used until December 12, 2012. However, we are implementing this change now to make it easy to design current and future products for use in Switzerland. In addition, this timely change allows our customers to be fully compliant prior to the Swiss standard SEV deadline.
Interpower Corporation 10 Amp Swiss cord sets are rated for use at 250V and can be terminated with any angle IEC 60320 C13, or a handwired Swiss connector.Interpower Corporation has no minimum order requirements, and a 1-week manufacturing lead time on nonstock cords.
