Interpower Components Ltd. offers a large variety of value-added services. We can also build cords and power cords to order. With rapid turn-around times and no minimum order size, we can solve many of your specialty cord needs.
Custom Length Cable Back to the top
Whether it is five or five hundred metres, Interpower Components Ltd. can handle your request. Specify cable in continuous lengths, or have it cut into discreet lengths. We can provide special stripping on the bare ends and have the cable ready for assembly on delivery. We can add any of a variety of cable terminations, such as ring terminals, spade terminals, ferrules, or quick disconnects, which are available in flag and straight styles. This service will prove particularly useful with larger, hard-to-handle cables, or more difficult-to-handle rubber jackets. Contact our Customer Service Department for more information.

If time or labour is short, we can manufacture made-to-order cords. Our ISO 9001 Certified Manufacturing facility can build cords for a large range of requirements.

If you are exporting products to multiple markets, powercords with varying plug styles may be required. We can supply the plugs, pre-assembled on the cable and ready to install for a large variety of equipment needs. As with custom length cable, many different terminations are available, as well as a custom-stripping option on the bare end of the powercord.
If a finished cord is more appropriate than a power cord, Interpower Components Ltd. can still handle your request. As with power cords, we have a variety of plugs available and we can add the mating socket. The socket can also be replaced with a connector from the IEC 60320 family, such as the C13 or C19, if a more universal connector is desired. We can manufacture lengths from 500mm upwards. We provide 100% testing on all cords, to ensure only the highest quality products leave our premises. Most cords are also available in different colours.

Custom Socket Strips Back to the top
Being a UL approved company allows us to manufacture socket strips to meet any non-standard specification and still have UL approval. You can choose from many components including circuit breakers, filtered inlets, custom fusing, powercord or inlet, IEC 60320 Sheet F, Sheet J, C14, and C20. These are wired into an industrial strength casing. This casing can be changed in both length and colour to meet your needs. Our Custom Socket Strip Team will help you with quoting a custom socket strip assembly. The finished products can have custom labels and packaging at your request.
Value-Added and Packaging Services Back to the top
Interpower Components Ltd. offers a wide variety of special services to benefit you and your customer. Special labeling is available for any powercord or cordset, with a wrap label, flag label, or hot-stamp. We can also provide special packaging for all of your parts, in the way of individual bagging, hanking, coiling, or boxing. Individually boxed and bagged parts can also be labeled on the package, for further convenience. And we will add the CE mark to assemblies targeted for European markets.
If appropriate components are used, your finished power cord or cordset may be UL approved and CSA certified. However, even when approved components are used, the same is not true for international products. The finished cord should be submitted independently, or as part of the completed equipment for approvals.
Finally, we use lot code traceability components for all manufactured cords. This allows you to meet the stringent demands your customers have for traceability and quality standards.
