The Swiss plug, specified in SEV 1011, is a variation of the CEE 7 plugs and sockets used throughout most of Europe. However, the grounding pin makes it incompatible with other CEE types. The plug is rated at 10A. Above 10A, equipment must be either wired permanently to the electrical supply system with appropriate branch circuit protection or connected to the mains with an appropriate high power industrial connector.
These cords are rated up to 10A/250VAC and approved by SEV, the Swiss safety agency.
