Full-Time Shipping/Receiving Clerk—
Oskaloosa, Iowa
Interpower Corporationis currently seeking a team-oriented candidate for a full-time Shipping and Receiving Clerk in its Shipping Department.
Hours:
This position typically works from 8:30 a.m.–5:30p.m., Monday–Friday, overtime if required by department.

Physical Requirements:
- Standing and on your feet for 75% of the day
- Safely operate fork trucks
- Climb Ladders
- Lift up to 50 pounds

Displays a positive, can- do attitude, proactively addresses shipping and receiving issues, and is an excellent team player.
- Helps others with daily and all tasks that need to complete to ensure that all work in the department will be done before everyone goes home for the day
- Displays a positive attitude at all times
- Proactively addresses any issues that arise in shipping and receiving tasks
Delights customers, internal and external, with outstanding service and on-time shipment of orders and ensures they are accurately filled and properly packaged so they arrive at the customer location in perfect condition.
- Pulls and packs orders for external customer
- Ships orders within our computer system ensuring that the customer is invoiced correctly
- Asks questions when needed
- Cheerfully helps internal customers with questions or order requests
- Keeps manufacturing areas stocked properly- rush orders are pulled within 1 hour of receipt and all other components are pulled and stocked before manufacturing needs them
- Receives product within our computer system and puts away products within 48 hours
- Helps freight carriers as needed
Helps maintain inventory stocking levels and inventory accuracy in the warehouse.
- Properly rotates stock to use the older lot codes first
- Helps keep the carousel and cable carousel stocked properly
- Performs computer-based transfers
- Re-Spools cable when there is less than 100 ft left on the spool, making sure inventory reflects what is on each spool
- Pulls the correct quantity from the correct location for all orders
