Interpower Corporation announces a low-cost, convenient source of AC power that lets you test your product before exporting globally. Common operating voltages and frequencies for global electrical products are typically 110-240VAC/50-60Hz. The Interpower International Power Source provides fast, convenient testing of AC electrical equipment at those common operating voltages and frequencies.
Furthermore, it provides seven of the most common country specific AC receptacles ensuring that equipment under test utilizes the proper AC plug. Testing electrical products with the International Power Source during product design stages or in production test prior to export gives you assurance that your global product will perform when the customer receives it. The unit can also be used to simulate brownouts, or drops in voltage in an electrical system.
This unit, the 85521711 offers output power at 1725VA maximum, low range variable at 10-138VAC at 12.5Ams maximum and a high range variable 10-276VAC at 6.25Ams maximum, 47-450Hz.

Effective April 11, 2011 Interpower Corporation is manufacturing our 10 Amp Swiss plug with insulated line and neutral pins in order to comply with the Swiss standard SEV 1011:2009 (type 12, sheet 6534-2:2009). This requirement does not apply to the Swiss 16 Amp plug.
The 10 Amp plugs with non-insulated pins may be used until December 12, 2012. However, we are implementing this change now to make it easy to design current and future products for use in Switzerland. In addition, this timely change allows our customers to be fully compliant prior to the Swiss standard SEV deadline.
Interpower Corporation 10 Amp Swiss cord sets are rated for use at 250V and can be terminated with any angle IEC 60320 C13, or a handwired Swiss connector.
Interpower Corporation has no minimum order requirements, and a 1-week manufacturing lead time on nonstock cords. Interpower Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of the panel-mount South African socket to its Plugs, Sockets, and Connectors product line.
The South African panel-mount socket, Interpower part number 88052170, is rated at 15A/250VAC per BS 546 and 16A/250VAC per SANS 164-0/1/3:2007. This new panel-mount socket complies with the European RoHS Directive (Restriction of Hazardous Substances).
Interpower Corporation carries mounting covers that can be used with the South African panel-mount socket. The Interpower part numbers are 88052070, 88052080, and 88052090. Interpower Corporation is proud to announce that we have expanded our plug, socket, and connector product line to include Brazilian rewireable plugs and connectors.
Interpower Corporation now offers a 20A/250VAC rewireable plug 88040300 and connector 88040310 for use in Brazil. These new products are approved by INMETRO, and are tested by TUV. The mating 20A plug and connector offer a special locking feature for safety.

Interpower Corporation is pleased to offer Angled NEMA 5-15 cord sets with eight plug direction options.
Interpower Angled NEMA 5-15 molded cord sets allow the user to choose from eight different angles in which the cord exits the outlet. The cord sets are designed for business, medical, or testing applications. The eight different plug options are especially helpful in reducing the clearance space required behind or under equipment.
Angled NEMA 5-15 cord sets are for equipment rated up to 15A with service at 125VAC. They are UL and CSA approved. NEMA 5-15 cord sets are available with 3×18, 3×16, and 3×14 AWG cable in stock lengths of 6, 8, and 10 feet.
Value-added options such as custom lengths, packaging, and labeling are available upon request. High-power connection devices are used in applications where high-power connection needs include detachability, security, and protection. Industries that may use high-power connection devices are those that require higher amperage and voltage than found in the normal circuit of a building. Interpower Corporation has expanded its fuse holder product line. There are two new RoHS compliant fuse holder series, the 8092 series, and the 8093 series. The 8092 series fuse holders are designed to accommodate both the international 5 x 20mm fuse and the North American ¼” x 1 ¼” fuse. The 8092 series of fuse holders carry the following approvals; UL recognition at 20A, CSA at 16A and VDE at 10A. Both high and low profile types of fuse holders are being offered. The accompanying 8092 series fuse carriers are sold separately, while the 8093 series fuse carriers are included with the fuse holder.
The 8093 series fuse holders are designed to accommodate the international 5 x 20mm fuse, and carries the following approvals; cURus (Canadian and US UL recognition) at 16A and VDE at 10A. All Interpower fuse holders have a rating of 250V. Additionally, these new fuse holders are rated IP40, indicating ingress protection against solid objects greater than 1mm in sizes. Both the 8092 and the 8093 series of fuse holders are panel mount with a rear hex nut.
All of Interpower’s new 8092 and 8093 series of fuse holders and carriers are “touch proof” and RoHS compliant.
